Visa Ready is a global strategic partner-facing program that accelerates our partner solutions in the payment ecosystem through a certification/vetting process. Visa Ready serves as a distribution channel for Visa core products and services through partners. This team works horizontally with various product groups to develop the ecosystem GTM to drive adoption of Visa's services. Visa Ready also works cross-functionally with legal, marketing, product and regional commercialization teams.

Some of the existing Product groups that have strategic Visa ready programs within Visa Ready are Acceptance (SoftPoS), Tokenization (VDCP/SRC), Urban Mobility (Transit), Fintech, Business Solutions.

The primary role of the Director, Product Management is in building out the Fintech/Crypto Visa Ready enablement stack. The role is defined as building, structuring and rolling out new program while being the lead for all Fintech enablement discussions. Today the Visa Ready enables fintech by certifying Issuer Processors who enable digital first issuing. The goal of the program is to conceptualize and scale to Bin Sponsors, Program managers and value added services partners. The project will entail building out the business case and value prop for this segment, defining the certification process, launching the program globally and finally building dashboards to track the detailed metrics associated with the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and scaling the initial Visa Ready Fintech programs - Issuer Processor; Bin Sponsor and Marketplace
  • Requirements gathering across Fintech enablement/VAS categories to define out segments
  • Define out criteria and launch segments - Crypto
  • Working with cross functional teams - emerging payments, product , regional FastTrack teams and AEs, and digital partnership and build out program parameters
  • Work closely with Visa Partner product and technology teams to build out the supporting infrastructure on the partner portal to build out the requirements and user stories
  • Work with Marketing to launch the program and build pipeline of participants
  • Work on Certifying partners
  • Define GTM for the partners and build the GTM tool kit

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of work experience and a Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Experience with Digital Issuance and Fintechs
  • Understanding of Issuer Processing/Bin Sponsorship

  • Prior Product management/Partner Management/customer facing expertise

  • Comfortable in a fast paced , rapid iteration project environment

  • Ability to connect and engage senior business stakeholders

  • Strong PowerPoint capabilities as this will involve building out collateral/business case

Work Hours: Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Travel: Incumbent must be able to travel less than 5%

Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms.
