PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Design is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX
Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program
Managers, and Engineers. We care deeply about the people who use
our products, and the SAP Design team plays an integral part in
gathering insights about their attitudes, emotions, and behaviors
to inspire and inform design. We collaborate closely with
engineering and product management to create industry-leading
products that deliver value for the people who use them and for
SAP is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative
Social Media and Communications Lead with a passion for bringing
the product expression closer to the customers. In this role, you
will develop and lead the Social Media strategy and implementation
for channels such as, but not limited to, Twitter, Instagram,
Facebook, Reddit, TikTok, and Pinterest.
In partnership with the Director of Strategic UX Communications
& Strategy and Director of the SAP Design Creative Studio, design
an innovative social media strategy that resonates with our diverse
and global audience and drive its implementation.
Define social media priorities, set goals and targets, aligning to
business goals and audience insights.
Proactively identify areas of optimization, set best practices, and
communicate these across teams.
Develop partnerships with platforms such as Twitter, Instagram,
Facebook, among others.
Partner with departments such as Marketing, PR, Editorial, and
Content Production to create opportunities for synergy and align on
WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in social media strategy planning, goal
setting, and implementation.
Familiarity using data to adjust and optimize strategy and
activations for community-facing channels.
The ideal candidate is highly entrepreneurial, energetic, and
self-motivated with the following skills: excellent collaboration
and communication skills, ability to be nimble, flexible, and
adaptable to changing customer dynamics.
The candidate will be autonomous, results-driven, and have a
demonstrated ability to influence cross-group agendas (including at
an executive level) and drive non-reporting teams to perform.
Willing to take on big challenges with significant growth
Strategic thinker able to identify opportunities and alternatives
and influence teams both, inside and outside the company to execute
