About the Role We're excited to expand our Commercial Team by hiring an Inside Sales Representative to support our sales efforts in North America. This position provides the opportunity for a sales professional to take on a primary role at a company that is making a major impact on the field of neuroscience. As the owner of the Inside Sales function, this position uniquely allows you to choose the work hours that are best for you, as long as the majority of work hours are between 5am Eastern Time and 6pm Pacific Time. The Inside Sales Representative will focus on supporting the field sales teams with: Responsibilities: Search, qualify, and prioritize leads by researching prospective customer labs. Sell Inscopix consumables to new and existing accounts by providing accurate technical information and quotations. Work closely with the field sales team to help field customer inquiries, provide accurate technical information and provide quotes for warranties and systems. Update and manage Salesforce CRM database to track Sales data. Complete vendor registrations and other certifications as needed for our customers? procurement process. Work closely with the marketing team to administer our Grant Assistance Program. Required Qualifications: Bachelor?s Degree in Life Sciences. Neuroscience or related degrees preferred. Minimum of 2 years work experience in Inside or Outside Sales. Experience with Salesforce CRM record maintenance, reporting, and creating custom fields within a rapidly growing company, preferably in the life sciences industry. Proficiency in using Microsoft products including Word, Power Point, Excel (vlook up, pivot tables) and G-suite applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills to support both internal and customer-facing interactions. Excellent time management and organizational skills with proven ability to balance speed with quality. Strong self-direction and initiative including determining your own weekly and daily priorities to achieve objectives. Ability to work effectively and productively, both independently and cross functionally. Experience working from home is preferred. Location: this is a home-based position in the United States. Salary and Benefits: The job will be retributed with a combination of monthly fixed salary and commission.
