About The Role:The WePay division of JPMorgan Chase is growing and we are looking for Product Architects and Senior Product Architects to join the product organization. The primary goals will include providing design and architecture guidance for the various programs and business initiatives. - This practice will include preparation of -product architecture deliverables based upon product architecture standards, -creating conceptual product Architecture views, current state gap analysis -and target state product architecture views. -You will come to understand and evaluate existing and future state business objectives and ensure target state architecture alignment is cognizant of the WePay and Merchant Services business capability needs. - You will work closely with -IT and Business partners to assist in development of -product -roadmaps and resulting deliverables to define the business needs. - You will also collaborate with technology teams in the development of proposed -architecture and holistic solution designs. You will -also engage with various execution teams within the Project Delivery Lifecycle to ensure the business intent remains consistent and is met throughout the project delivery phases. - -You will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert with respect to major WePay and Merchant Services business processes and supporting applications.What You Will Do:Review, analyze, and evaluate ideas, projects and opportunities to develop new products, new technologies and business models for various business segments.Assess business and technical functionality to support build, buy, or partner decisionsCreate product architecture models demonstrating how products, operations and systems interoperate within the organization.Conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and/or software procurement. -Ensure solutions developed across the organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits). -Provide overall direction, guidance and definition of product architecture to effectively support business strategy. Apply and utilize business modeling methods to ensure results oriented deliverables in a way that can be recreated and used as a corporate knowledge resource available to project level initiatives and executive decision making. -Act as a subject matter expert in the development of product architecture framework development, tool suite selection and design and methodology development. -Partner with the IT architecture team in developing an IT framework that aligns with the product architecture.Function as a liaison to Business and IT partners in order to gain a broad understanding of industry trends and innovations, and their impact on technology.Work with business leaders to identify business capability needs and prioritization.Lead the effort to identify and document capability and initiative needs and strategic prioritization into product architecture deliverables (roadmaps etc.). -Provide architectural oversight of projects; ensuring requirements are in alignment with business strategies and product architecture roadmap/framework.Collaborate across business segments to both find opportunities for and showcase ideas in the Innovation and emerging business pipeline.What We Are Looking For:A minimum of 4 years of combined experience of product development and architecture/design.Experience in customer journey mapping, product roadmaps, competitive analysis ,and product architecture.A solid understanding of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices.Experience solving challenging business problems with innovative enterprise solutions aligning business needs to IT capabilities.Experience with business analysis and process impact analysis.A keen understanding of financial control and budget management.Strong collaboration, communication and negotiation skills.Additional skills: agile methodologies, dynamic presentation, influencing and negotiating.A solid understanding of the financial industry including payments processing preferably in the small and medium business space would be ideal.About WePayWePay's mission is to make commerce seamless.
