provide technical expertise for the development of systems
requirements and systems analysis for our autonomous vehicle's
Perception & Planning systems, which include Mapping, Sensing,
Localization, Perception, Route Planning, Motion Planning, Motion
Control, Remote Guidance, and Other Offboard Functions. This
includes systems level analysis, data driven analysis of test data,
and safety analysis to derive requirements and scenarios. Will
support development of Autonomous Vehicle performance and safety
metrics and support requirements and failure mode reviews with
internal and external stakeholders.What you'll do: Analyze Root
Cause failures of the core autonomy sub-functions;Develop
requirements on the core autonomy sub-functions;Develop and
maintain the functional architecture and data flow diagrams of the
core autonomy sub-functions;Perform failure analyses of the core
autonomy sub-functions;Communicate effectively to make
recommendations and drive consensus amongst all stakeholders
(executive team,product, customer, engineering, test);Develop
analytical models (SW development) for the core autonomy
sub-functions;Develop metrics on the performance of the core
autonomy sub-functions;Develop design verification plans for the
core autonomy sub-functions; andDevelop test methods for the core
autonomy sub-functions.What you'll need to succeed:Master of
Science degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering,
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering,
Robotics or a related field of study. Will also accept a Bachelor
of Science degree or foreignequivalent in Computer Engineering,
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Robotics or arelated field of study together with two (2) years of
experience in a related occupation.Previous experience must have
included:Experience in developing Autonomy Systems, Autonomy
Software, OR Safety Critical Systems;Experience with perception and
motion planning systems for autonomous vehicles or similar
autonomous roboticsystems;Experience with the complete systems
engineering product lifecycle, including concept, validation,
delivery, andoperation;Experience with modern systems engineering
techniques, tools and processes, including requirementsmanagement,
failure analysis, and test methods;Experience programming in Python
or C++; andExperience in cross-functional collaboration with other
