Design Research Specialist as part of Strategy, Digital and

- Scope, plan and execute discovery and evaluative design
research and translate research into strategic insights
- Be the customer advocate when working with multidisciplinary to
uncover customer needs and design meeting those needs
- Analyze and synthesize data from a myriad of sources to quickly
identify and convey user insights that guide strategy and product
definition.
- Create visual artifacts that reflect insights and convey ideas
that inspire new thinking
- Designing, building, and facilitating design strategy
workshops
- Plan and lead others through analysis and synthesis
activities
- Help leaders see the connection between research, customer
insights and design solutions from ideation to execution
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Website or Application Design experience, or
equivalent demonstrated through one or a combinationDesired
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience leading discovery and evaluative design
research (problem definition, research planning, interviewing (from
ethnographic interviews to usability testing)
- 5+ years of professional experience working with product teams
including product leaders, UX designers and other design
strategists (at agency and/or within large organization).
- Experience leading projects with multi-disciplinary teams
comprised of designers, architects, and strategists.
- Experience creating innovative solutions for customers or
employees, leveraging methods including but not limited to design
thinking, human centered design, Futurism, Service Design, Data
Visualization, ethnography, systems thinking, analytical thinking,
in-depth-interview, Opportunity Definition, Concept Development,
Storytelling
- Experience using design tools such as Figma, Mural, Miro,
Invision, etc.
- Advanced Degree in social, behavioral, human centric
interaction or cognitive sciences (Sociology, Anthropology,
Psychology) or other research-oriented disciplines within
Humanities, Cultural studies, Political Science, Business, or
