Job Description:
The Instructional Designer role is responsible for design,
development and maintenance of learning content to ensure end-user
adoption and a high impact learner experience across Striim's
customers and internal team members. This position requires someone
who is capable of working in a fast-paced and agile environment,
and who builds trust with business leaders to ensure training
deliverables meet and exceed the needs of the business.Job
Responsibilities:
- Design, curate, and develop creative, learner-centered,
performance-based training programs, modules, and supporting
materials across multiple modalities including instructor led,
virtual instructor-led, blended learning, digital adoption
performance support, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and
facilitator guides.
- Partner with the Customer Success team and other partners
across Striim to recommend the best format for delivering learning
solutions based on objectives and desired outcomes.
- Create graphics, visual aids, and learning marketing materials
(including internal websites) to support the development of content
for Striim customers and internal team members
- In collaboration with business leaders and other partners,
develop course assessments and evaluation metrics that assess
business impact and regularly report on findings.
- Develop partnership with internal stakeholders and learning
team members.
- Partner with Customer Success team to develop templates,
maximize utilization of tools and learning technologies in
deploying eLearning content, testing, learning content management,
training effectiveness evaluation, coaching and performance
support, and LMS administration.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leaders to develop
content to support training needs for our customers and internal
team members
- Actively evaluate and seek improvements to the training
approaches used to ensure content is being delivered in a varied
method, and using modern, innovative approaches leveraging
available authoring and digital adoption tools
- 2-5 years in Learning & Development role with strong emphasis
in instructional design or digital adoption development
- Superior time management and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders,
managing input while owning and driving the development timeline
forward
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills with strong
attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced,
high growth and high output environment
- Ability to understand technical possibilities and limitations
in order to troubleshoot and maintain WalkMe implementations
- Resourceful, independent thinker with a willingness to adopt
creative approaches to analyze and solve business and customer
challenges while being a strong team player and collaborator
- Driven to create new ways to reach, inform and captivate
audiences
- Demonstrated experience creating content in an e-learning
platform for user training (i.e. Articulate 360 tools, Camtasia, or
WalkMe)
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to build
relationships and effectively connect with others.
- HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript experience a plus
- Knowledge about ADA compliance and accessibility standards
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and learning
strategies
- Bachelors' degree
- Instructional Design Certificate (preferred)
- Digital Adoption Certificate (preferred)
- Experience leading small to medium-sized projects with defined
objectives, deliverables and timelines
- Experience supporting complex change management initiatives
across organizations with multiple business lines and
locations
- Experience exercising independent judgment and providing
consultation to learning peers
- Experience supporting the lifecycle of content development
using an instructional design methodology (such as LLAMA, ADDIE,
etc.)
- This role will require occasional travel and in-person
meetings. Striim, Inc. currently requires that all employees who
