CRM/ERM Technical SpecialistCooley is seeking a CRM/ERM Technical Specialist to join the Market Data arm of the Information Services team.Position Summary:Under the supervision of the Market Data Manager, the CRM/ERM Technical Specialist will manage the technical aspects of the firm's CRM/ERM, relevant integrations and wider (non-digital) marketing technology stack. The CRM/ERM Technical Specialist delivers technical solutions that utilize the CRM/ERM. The Specialist will work closely with the IS Data Strategy team and other IS resources to ensure that the CRM/ERM are supported and that data is organized in a centralized structured manner.Position responsibilities:

  • Acts as the CRM/ERM technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the organization
  • Manages the technical administration of the Firm's CRM tool (Salesforce) and ERM tool (Introhive) and relevant integrations including troubleshooting, ensuring technical issues are resolved promptly, system enhancements and system upgrades
  • Architects, designs and extends the Salesforce platform in alignment with business requirements, including creation of new fields, values and layout development
  • Manages the remediation of marketing technology instability and performance issues
  • Leads in translating improvement requests and requirements into working technical solutions in the CRM
  • Acts as interpreter and connector; speaks the languages of both marketing and technology and leads in translating requirements into data solutions
  • Liaises with Salesforce.com to manage updates to system design and possibilities for enhancements and troubleshooting system issues
  • Leads in working with vendors for applications that integrate into Salesforce.com, and consulting partners to ensure project and support related tasks are completed on time
  • Leads on reducing unnecessary dependence upon consultants for projects where internal expertise is sufficient.
  • Assists the Market Data Manager in the management of the budget and licenses for non-digital marketing technology stack and vendor/consultancy engagements
  • Acts as technical lead in marketing technology aligned project management
  • Creates and maintain roadmaps for existing products and services
  • Identifies and sunsets outdated or unused marketing technologySkills and experience:Required:
    • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications
    • Available to work overtime, as required
    • 3+ years working in Salesforce.com
    • Demonstrated success on previous Salesforce projects as a developer
    • Significant experience with integrations in to and out of Salesforce
    • Proven expertise with Lightning Component developmentPreferred:
      • College degree in a technology field
      • Experience in a professional services or law firm environment
      • Salesforce Administrator and Developer CertificationsCompetencies:

        • Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication skills

        • Ability to keep current with new developments, master new technologies, and adapt to changeCooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package.EOEPursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act, please find the compensation range specific to this role if based in CO, as well as a description of bonus and benefits generally applicable across all US offices.
          • Colorado pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience - $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
          • Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
          • Employees in this role will have the option to elect various benefits, including medical, dental, vision, accidental death and dismemberment, life insurance, dependent life insurance, long term disability, long-term care insurance, health savings accounts (if enrolled in an HDHP), health/dependent care spending accounts, 401(k) and profit sharing.
          • Other benefits include PTO and the option to participate in our tuition reimbursement program and wellness program, which includes fitness reimbursement each year.Pursuant to the salary transparency provisions of the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), please find the compensation range specific to this role if based in New York.
            • New York pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience: $95,000 to $115,000 annually.
              The salary range in other markets will vary.
