Position: Business Systems Analyst III (San Ramon, CA)
Duties: Create and orchestrate project plans for the entire
development lifecycle, including maintenance planning.
Review design proposals and provide feedback on alignment with
business requirements. Ensure application systems
are aligned with user needs, objectives, process, and overall
business strategies. Provide consultation on complex
projects. Guide implementation of new business processes to
support system changes and ensure integrated system
and production support is in place. Provide guidance to Business
Systems Analysts and business partners in all day-to-
day application and production issues. Develop systems
implementation strategies in partnership with key business
stakeholders.. Lead reviews, chronicle, and obtain formal
approval from business owners, DEV, and QA on detailed
functional requirements. Optimize application solutions for
multiple departments. Contribute to resolution of design
issues to facilitate development. Ensure that project delivery
and implemented solutions meet business requirements.
Requirements: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business
Administration, Computer Information Systems,
Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and three (3)
years experience performing business and systems
analysis for large-scale system migrations and enhancements; or,
in the alternative: a Bachelors degree (or foreign
equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Information
Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or a related
field and five (5) years of experience as indicated above.
One year of experience must include:
Performing gap, risk and impact analysis of the current state of
business systems and document future state
Interfacing with business leaders to gather requirements,
analyzing client specific business requirements, creating
and updating Functional Design Documents, and implementing new
processes and interfaces.
Managing new enhancements and issues reported and providing
functional guidance and support to multiple
Reporting and tracking functional gaps and issues through
client-specific defect tracking management tools.
Creating test plans and test scripts to perform various testing
phases (system, integration, functional, end-to-end,
and parallel) using Test Director and Quality Center.
Designing processes and interface programs between third party
applications and multiple vendors as required by
Performing Salesforce business analysis including analyzing
relationships between objects and schema,
marketing cloud journeys.
Writing SQL queries and Soql Salesforce queries to perform data
retrieval, root cause analysis, and defect fixes.
Creating Functional Requirements for systems enhancements using
Working on multiple projects simultaneously, including creating
requirements for multiple major releases of a
product)., which have global impact to the business.
