Job Description:

The IT Help Desk Technician has experience in supporting both Mac and PC environments, can have simple and complex conversations to resolve technical issues for our customers, and is someone who wants to grow and learn more within IT/Systems work. Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of IT Help Desk experience
  • Mac OS, Windows, Linux
  • Command line troubleshooting to resolving individual application failures required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer-facing experience
  • Ability to support others in a team environment
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision
  • Adapt well to ever-changing customer needs and business processes
  • Must be willing to pursue continued learning and certification related to emerging technologiesResponsibilities
    • Provide both technical and non-technical support to our customers, providing simplified explanations of complex technical issues
    • Provide hardware and software IT support and technical education to end users
    • Review and solve employee technical support tickets within defined service level agreements
    • Evaluate system functionality to ensure that they meet the needs of our projects and customers
    • Troubleshoot user requests and issues while providing context and information to deliver the best solutions
    • Troubleshoot client-side network connectivity issues; including digital authentication, remote access, secure Wi-Fi, wired connectivity to the internal network, password resets, etc.
    • Support user requests and performs break/fix or remote installations as needed
    • Assist with policy development and technology planning
    • Maintain and update business and technical documentation
    • Display learning agility by actively seeking answers when technically challenged
    • Seek feedback from colleagues/teammates to optimize and improve supportBenefits
