Job Description:
Job Description: As a Facilities Tech, you will play a crucial
role in supporting lab operations across multiple locations. This
position emphasizes facility maintenance, equipment calibration,
and safety compliance to ensure a secure and efficient working
environment for engineers and technicians. Key Qualifications: 2–3
years of experience in facilities operations, lab support, or
related fields. Fast learner with adaptability and a proactive
approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills,
professionalism, and ability to coordinate across teams.
Familiarity with safety protocols (EHS) in lab environments.
Experience with gas tank systems — monitoring, changing, and
ensuring safety procedures. Knowledge of water filtration systems
and general lab infrastructure. Proven ability to handle
calibration processes and manage maintenance tickets. Effective
time management and organizational skills. Forklift certification
(or willingness to obtain through employer-provided training)
Responsibilities: Oversee facility operations, ensuring lab
equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Respond to
facility-related issues, managing tickets and coordinating
resolutions with appropriate teams. Handle gas tank system
operations, including monitoring, replacing tanks, and ensuring
compliance with safety protocols. Maintain water filtration
systems, ensuring optimal performance. Schedule equipment moves
between buildings and vendors, coordinating logistics as needed.
Collaborate with vendors to manage calibration schedules and
service requests. Ensure compliance with lab safety standards and
promptly address any safety concerns. Provide regular updates to
stakeholders on facility status and ongoing projects. Adapt quickly
to shifting priorities and support additional tasks as needed.
