Job Description Job Description OVERVIEW: The Donation Driver
reports to the Corps Officer and is responsible for picking up
donations from retail partners and delivering them to The Salvation
Army Sunnyvale Corps. Duties include unloading, weighing, stocking,
and organizing donated items, as well as submitting daily
statistical reports to the appropriate programs and agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Pick up all the food donations from
the food bank Drive to designated retail stores for donations
Oversee the food pantry program Maintain food storage and
distribution area Attend community Agency Meetings Keep up to date
on changes in community agencies' procedures and regulations
Deliver and process donated items Report stats to appropriate
programs and agencies Maintain company vehicles Greet and direct
office visitors Coordinate with store receivers and managers to
schedule donation pickups Clean the small facility office Other
related duties as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school
diploma or equivalent (required) CA driver’s license (required)
Experience with data entry Experience driving a 2-ton truck
Experience with pallet jacks SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to
multi-task EQUIPMENT USED: Modern Office Equipment and Relevant
Software 2-ton truck Pallet jack PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to
lift up to 50 lbs. ADA Statement Qualified individuals must be able
